Don't try to dig it out
It's tempting to go after a broken key with tweezers, a paper clip or superglue. Unfortunately, that usually pushes the piece deeper or jams the pins, turning a simple extraction into a lock replacement. Leave the lock alone and call us.
How we remove broken keys
We use thin extraction tools made to grab the key without damaging the pins inside the lock. Once the piece is out, we check that the lock still works and cut you a new key, often from the broken pieces.
